Laura Jane Scott is an artist living and working in south east London.
Her work is an investigation of form; an exploration of balance between positive and negative space, presence and absence.
All the shapes used in her work are derived from a four by four square grid. Each series is a systematic exploration of the combinations and compositions that can be created within self-imposed parameters.
A solo exhibition of Laura's work is scheduled for November 2017 at the Foundry Gallery, Chelsea. More information will follow.
'Perspective Study 002' was displayed at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition from 13th June - 21st August 2016.
